摘要: Abstract The general analysis of binary reactions involving particles with arbitrary spin is reformulated in such a way, that it applies equally well to relativistic (including photons). This achieved by using longitudinal components (“helicity states”) not only the initial and final states, but also angular momentum states which are employed as usual reduce S-matrix simpler form. Expressions for scattering reaction-amplitude, intensity polarization given. They involve fewer vector-addition coefficients than customary formulas, no recoupling coefficients. application some examples sketched, Appendix formulas given may be use applications.
