摘要: For all 209 RXTE observations of the X-ray nova XTE J1550-564 during its major outburst 1998-1999, we have analyzed power spectra, phase lags, and coherence functions. The lags measures are used to distinguish three types low-frequency QPOs (one more than those reported by Wijnands, Homan, & van der Klis 1999). most common type, lag is correlated with both QPO frequency amplitude. physical significance evident in relationships between properties apparent temperature flux from accretion disk. There also a clear pattern how relate presence high-frequency QPOs. In general, amplitude Q value (freq./FWHM) decrease as oscillations increase (100 284 Hz) value. We speculate that antagonism arises competing structures perturbed However, find frequencies slow ( 100 not correlated. addition, encounter systematic problems attempting reliably compare broad features continuum, since there variable number such spectra. These results cast some doubt on global relationship neutrons stars black hole systems.
