摘要: The increase of agricultural production in a sustainable scenario depends on the development new technologies to optimize use resources, especially fertilizers. Novel materials can provide means controlled release inputs as well enable strategies for using poorly soluble sources. Modern agriculture is facing productivity challenge due 9 billion people demands next 50 years. To that, requests improvements input efficiency fill economic requirements reducing their environmental impacts. Several be specially designed an adequate these (mainly fertilizers) including ion-exchange materials, coatings and high-adsorption capacity materials. Noteworthy are nanoparticulate fertilizers nanocomposites, where size structure useful control solubilization, consequently, nutrient availability plants synchronized way, avoiding losses environment. Therefore, this review aims introduce wide view available in-development best management inputs, focused minimal impact. These different offer portfolio possible solutions
