摘要: This paper describes the developmental stages and numbers of flagellates two strains Trypanosoma cruzi living in small intestine rectum insect, Triatoma infestans, during first 12 weeks postinfection (pi). Mainly epimastigotes occasionally amastigotes final trypomastigotes developed but after starvation periods 3 or 4 higher percentages spheromastigotes including their transitional forms to/from were found. In rectum, percentage increased steps; second, not first, correlated with development intermediates originating from epimastigotes. For both total number 8 9 weeks, although there reduced when bugs had starved for weeks. up to 10 pi; only about 25% these lived lumen, others located at rectal wall. “Chile 5” strain T. (zymodeme 1) nearly always reached population densities than 7” 2).
