摘要: The collagen types in the fetal and adult bovine corneal layers were compared. cornea was separated into epithelial, endothelial, stromal layers. Of interstitial collagens, type I predominant all of both corneas. Only collagens found three cornea. Type also together with a minute amount, less than 2%, III collagen. could only be detected by cyanogen bromide peptide gel maps not apparent electrophoresis intact alpha chains. noninterstitial V present throughout IV, basement membrane-specific endothelial epithelial layers, which contain Descemet's Bowman's membrane, respectively. transient presence reflects an embryonic stage development.
