摘要: The present study was done to investigate the microstructure and erosion–corrosion behavior of Inconel 625 coating. 270 µm thick coating successfully deposited on alloy-76 with cold spray process, from analysis, it is found that dense, smooth hard porosity less than 1%. Surface further reduced 0.5% by burnishing process. Corrosive tests were performed in actual working plant medical waste incinerator for 10 cycles total 1000 h at 900 °C. Coated samples better as compared bare alloy mainly because formation chromia-rich protective surface scale layer which had resisted penetration corrosive species toward substrate. Erosion–corrosion rates mils per year (mpy) are 108.29, 43.45 30.69 alloy-76, coated burnished-625 respectively. Active oxidation mechanism has been noticed case environment. Cold suitable application erosive–corrosive high temperature
