摘要: AbstractFreezing precipitation, including freezing rain, drizzle, and ice pellets, presents substantial hazards to transportation, energy, infrastructure. Most quantitative climate-length (>30 years) datasets for precipitation are obtained from in situ instrumentation, such as National Weather Service (NWS) automated observing systems or the NWS Cooperative Observer Program, that can be spatially temporally inhomogeneous. This work investigates whether 32-km North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR) is a viable dataset developing comprehensive high-resolution gridded its associated meteorological environment, with focus on south-central United States. NARR includes categorical type variable; permit translatable method across other multidimensional reanalyses, however, multialgorithm approach also used extract environmental conditions, event counts, liquid water equival...
