摘要: Abstract An account is given of the U.K. Meteorological Office numerical model for simulating long range transport, dispersion and wet dry deposition radionuclides to ground following an accidental release into atmosphere. The Met. was supported in this project by Safety Reliability Directorate UKAEA two University Research groups. A fairly full description structure its modus operandi, particular parametrization diffusive, entrainment processes. features a unique high-resolution, real-time rainfall archive underpinning deposition, substantially automated technique adjusting assumptions products light observed radiology. paper concludes with some examples applications which include Kuwait crisis Chernobyl.
