摘要: Abstract Very small and stable metallic iron particles supported on magnesium oxide have been obtained in an average size d from 1.5 to 30 nm. The hydrogen reduced consist of iron, oxide, Fe 2+ clusters oxide. Values determined by electron microscopy, magnetic susceptibility, X-ray line-broadening Mossbauer spectra agreed with those selective chemisorption carbon monoxide a stoichiometry two atoms per adsorbed molecule. As the loading was changed 1 40 wt %, fraction state different samples varied 0.4 0.7, concentration only little. These results, coupled study sample preparation, suggest that is not merely inert carrier for but instead interacts manner essential ultimate production stabilization particles.
