摘要: In ophthalmology, as in other fields of medicine, fungus infections have become increasingly important since the advent antibiotic and steroid therapy. Mucormycosis is a disease caused by normally saprophytic organisms that pathogenic under special circumstances. Clinically, mucormycotic may be classified into chronic acute (or subacute) types. The type infection usually occurs localized process an otherwise healthy individual, e.g., mucor dermatitis, paronychia, external otitis, etc. These are indolent offer no threat to life. Only 3 cases ocular mucormycosis which could properly been reported. Two these were keratomycosis, one resulted from topical therapy for corneal abrasion. 9,10,41 third was case retina presenting clinically Coat's youngster. 42
