摘要: The reaction of zinc chloride with sodium phenoxide followed by the addition of tetraethylammonium chloride monohydrate gave a dimer zinc complex, [Et4N](2)[Zn-2(OPh)(2)Cl-4]. The crystal structure of it has been determined. It crystallizes in monoclinic space group C2/m with a = 14.1366(2), b = 13.6985(5), c = 9.3308(3)Angstrom, beta = 107.851(2)degrees, V = 1719.92(9)Angstrom (3), C28H50O2N2Zn2Cl4, M-r = 721.24, Z = 2, D-x = 1.393 g/cm(3), mu (MoK alpha) = 1.732 mm(-1), F(000) = 756, R = 0.0552, wR = 0.1534, S = 1.027. The complex consists of an anion of [Zn-2(OPh)(2)Cl-4](2-) and two cations of Et4N+. The anion [Zn-2(OPh)(2)Cl-4](2-) contains a central Zn(2)O(2)rhombic plane. The two zinc atoms are doubly bridged by two oxygen atoms of phenolate ligands and each zinc atom coordinates to two chlorine ligands to form a tetrahedral coordination.
