ASSFN Society News

摘要: It is a distinct honour and a pleasure for me to be able to serve as the President of the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. Our Society has the sense of vigor and purpose, something that we must grasp and capitalize on. Our field is progressing rapidly, and is arguably one of the most exciting fields within neurosurgery and in neurosciences. There have been several recent advances in our Society which reflect the level of activity and enthusiasm in our field.Our Society rests on three fundamental pillars. First, we have a strong increasingly larger membership. Our membership is diverse in its interest and its scope of activities. We have recently added a novel membership category, ie, residents and fellow membership to encourage young, bright minds to enter our field. Our second pillar is our journal,“Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery.” Our journal is flourishing under the …
