摘要: This chapter presents a complex continuous state system control problem using the direct NDP method introduced in Chapter 5. The system examined is an Apache helicopter modeled using the full-scale industrial simulator FLYRT. The focus is on how direct NDP can be used to control complex, realistic, and high-dimensional systems. The problem formulation, objectives, implementation, results, and insights that can be gained from doing direct NDP designs are discussed in detail. This case study is one of the applications examined in this book that addresses the challenging generalization issue.
