摘要: Real-world scenes are composed of numerous objects, textures and colored regions which are arranged in a variety of spatial layouts. However, fast scene categorization, unlike other visual mechanisms (eg search), is unaffected by the perceptual complexity of a scene. This presents the question of how visual complexity is represented by our cognitive system.
