摘要: • Affective reactivity refers to the intensity and variability of an individual’s responses to evocative stimuli.• Previous research has almost exclusively utilized selfreports of affective (or emotional) reactivity and tasks assessing responses to evocative pictures and sounds.• As such, little is currently known about the stability of affective reactivity outside of these limited experimental contexts (Gross, Sutton, & Ketelaar, 1998); it is unclear to what extent measures of affective reactivity are predictive of behavioral and bodily responses to a wider variety of evocative stimuli and situations.• To fill this gap in the literature, we assessed individual differences in self-reported and physiological reactivity across a large battery of experimental tasks, predicting that we would find evidence of stable and consistent individual differences in affective reactivity.
