Quantitative MRI of Osteoarthritis for Multicenter Trials: Standardization between Different Centers and Manufacturers

摘要: In this study, we assessed the repeatability and reproducibility of quantitative MRI measurements of cartilage morphometry and tissue parameters intra-site and between sites and manufacturers. Quantitative measurements of tissue morphometry, T2, and sodium concentration were repeatable within a given site as determined by a high concordance correlation coefficient. Between sites with different manufacturers, correlation was high for morphologic imaging. Sodium concentration measurements showed a correctable bias while use of different acquisition sequences on different platforms for T2 measurements showed errors that are not easily correctable.
