A New Format and Call for Papers on Emerging Transformative Technologies

摘要: I am pleased to inform our readers that we have renewed our contracts for another three years as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor with our publisher, Elsevier. Since taking over the Journal in 2011, our submissions and one and five year impact factors have almost doubled. The Journal is thus in good shape, which gives us the opportunity to create a new format to encourage calls for research on emerging technologies that will likely have wide ranging, transformative societal implications.The new format will combine two aspects already available to JET-M authors. The first phase will include a Perspectives submission that outlines the basic idea, the importance to the field of technology management and specific areas requiring further research.
