Traffic management of ATM networks: service provisioning, routing, and traffic shaping

摘要: The emphasis on performance guarantee and the large bandwidth-delay product favor a resource reservation approach to traffic management of ATM networks. This thesis proposes such an approach comprising of service provisioning, routing, admission, and traffic shaping, and studies aspects of these management functions.
