摘要: Background: Laparoscopic liver resections (LLR) of colorectal metastasis located in posterosuperior segments (1, 4A, 7 and 8) are challenging and highly demanding, but nowadays it has become more practical due to the evolution of laparoscopic surgery. The aim of our study is to determine the safety and feasibility of LLR in the resections of the posterosuperior lesions.Methods: Patients who underwent either hand assisted laparoscopic surgery (HALS) or open liver resection (OLR) for MCRC located in the posterosuperior segments of liver between 2008 and 2018 were identified from the electronic databases of two academic affiliated centers. Clinical data was collected retrospectively after getting the institutional ethical committee approval.Results: In total, 78 HALS and 109 open resections were included.
