摘要: Data-redatuming, as an extrapolation problem, aims at simulating the recorded data as if they were triggered and recorded at another datum. The virtual source method is a fundamental step in most of the existing redatuming techniques when a source that can regenerate the existing data is estimated in the least squares sense. The standard time-reversal (TR) estimates the virtual sources as the adjoint solution of a source estimation at the expense of the least-squares solution to mitigate computational cost. However, this limits the applicability of the method to the cases when an accurate macromodel exists and the acquisition fully illuminates the subsurface. In this research, we solve the virtual source estimation problem in a least-squares sense with a simple zero-order Tikhonov regularization to mitigate the computational cost.
