摘要: In this paper we describe a computational model of chord shaping in the general context of guitar fingering. We pursue an approach that is cognition-based, and relies on a physical model to define a strict relationship between the chord shape and the sound produced. The approach is implemented in the system HARCO, which computes chord shapes and fingering by applying the constraints provided by the instrument structure and the anatomy of the hand. The paper describes the model and some preliminary evaluation on the results.
