Theoretical and simulation analysis of the add/drop filter ring resonator based on the Z-transform method theory

摘要: A system of microring resonator (MRR) connecting to two straight waveguides is presented in order to show the transmission characteristics of the system. This system is the key elements in multiplexers, modulators and optical switches. It can be used as chemical and biochemical sensors. The theory of the research which is based on the Z-transform method is used to obtained required transmission characteristics profile of the system.
