Distribution network reconfiguration for loss reduction using Particle swarm optimization

摘要: Network reconfiguration for loss reduction in distribution system is an important way to save energy. In this paper particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used for network reconfiguration to reduce the power loss and voltage profile enhancement of distribution system. The numerical results are presented on a distribution system to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method by PSO.
