摘要: RESULTS There was astatistically significant (p= 0.002, P= 0.45) inverse correlation between the resected tissue ADC and the cell density (Figure 1). There was a statistically significant (p= 0.01, 6= 0.36) correlation between the mean nCho and the mean cell density (Figure 2A). The nCho did not significantly correlate (p> 0.05) with proliferative index (data not shown). The spectroscopy statistical correlations were stronger when only gliobastoma multiforme (GBM) cases were analyzed separately. The nCho vs. cell density (Figure 2B) statistical analysis for GBM produced p= 0.007 and fi= 0.73 (n= 8). This suggests that different glioma cell types (eg GBM vs. oligiodendroglioma) have unique characteristic cell density versus nCho relationships.CONCLUSION Correlative imaging-histology investigations are valuable for defining which fundamental glioma tissue characteristics (eg biochemical alterations associated …
