Genetic evaluation for digital dermatitis

摘要: This document summarizes proposed methods (model, data, etc.) for a routine genetic evaluation for digital dermatitis (DD) in Canada. This trait is scheduled for a routine genetic evaluation at CDN, targeted for implementation on or before the April 2018 release. All recommendations in this document are based on earlier research by Francesca Malchiodi et al. conducted at CGIL from 2014 to 2017. In addition, hoof health data extracted from the CDN database is characterized and the first results of genetic evaluation for DD in the Holstein breed are briefly presented.Data:
