Dark Factor of Personality--Swedish Version

摘要: The Dark Factor of Personality--Swedish Version (Streckert, Kurtz, & Kajonius, 2023) was adapted and translated from the English Dark Factor of Personality (D; Moshagen et al., 2018), a 70-item scale (D70) that measures the basic disposition of antagonistic behaviors. The scale can be used in a short version (D16) consisting of 16 items. In addition to the general D factor, there are five underlying themes, namely Callousness, Deceitfulness, Narcissistic Entitlement, Sadism, and Vindictiveness. Items were translated from English into Swedish by a translation and back-translation process. Data were collected from an online convenience sample where most participants were female and between 21 and 30 years old. Responding to the survey took around 15 minutes. Factor analysis supported the original theorized bifactor model for D70 and a single-factor model for D16 showed good fit to the data. Results …
