摘要: Since 2016, the Group of Alternative Analytical Approaches (GAAA) has been investigating materials from the sugarcane industry from the beginning of the process through the end products. This subject of analysis is important since, in some steps of the process, some types of impurities can negatively affect the quality of the end products. In this regard, this study intends to show the work that GAAA has done over the past eight years in this actuation field from the sugarcane itself, passing through sugarcane fibers after milling, and sugarcane juice goes to sugar and ethanol production through white crystal cane sugar. In addition, this study will show an inherent problem in biorefineries: the mineral scales formed in the tubes in which the sugarcane passes. This compromises the production directly since, in some cases, the process must be stopped to solve this.
