摘要: The aim of this work was to study the cultivation heterogeneity in a Mediterranean agricultural area using high spatial resolution multi-spectral imagery. Cultivation heterogeneity studies can serve as a basis for Precision Farming applications. Specific objectives were: i) to recognise cultivation patterns, ii) to identify cultivation heterogeneity origin, and iii) to estimate cultivation heterogeneity degree on an area scale. The findings showed that patterns comprised mainly vines and olive plantations and that the cultivation heterogeneity was mainly attributed to different growths and row densities of the plants. Cultivation heterogeneity degree was found to be 24.2%, 21.7% and 55.3% in different image modes.
