Two-phase discharge from a stratified region through two side orifices

摘要: Experimental data on two-phase mass flux and quality during dual discharge from a stratified region for a wide range of operating conditions were collected and examined. Independent parameters were varied in a systematic fashion to in order to quantify their individual influence and to facilitate correlation development. Results for dual discharge could not be predicted from those of single discharge, and thus the data collected in this experiment were well justified as required for predictive purposes. Normalized plots and correlating equations were developed from collected data; this allowed prediction of all present data with good accuracy. 3 figs., 5 refs.
