摘要: In various industrial and propulsion systems, the occurrence of thermoacoustic instability in combustors can be catastrophic. An understanding of flame response characteristics to acoustic perturbations is important for the analysis of this instability. Investigations into flame response characteristics to acoustic perturbations are necessary for acquiring the capability to predict this instability. In this study, numerical simulations of the response characteristics of a perforated-plate- stabilized lean laminar premixed methane/air flame to acoustic perturbations were performed. The premixed methane/air flame was described by a two-step global reaction mechanism, and two- dimensional axisymmetric simulations were performed by using an open-source OpenFOAM- based solver.
