摘要: A novel organic solar cell (OSC) concept is introduced by proposing a multi-layer stacked solar cell. Low thicknesses of adjacent ultrathin multi-layers maximize exciton diffusion and due to assuming excellent exciton dissociation and charge carrier transport short-circuit current density (JSC) is optimised. This method allows an estimation of maximum power conversion efficiency of OSCs independent of any morphology. Maximum power conversion efficiency of active materials ZnPc and C60 is calculated to slightly less than 9%.
