摘要: In this last chapter, we will summarise with a view to the future, to a possible (textile) fibre diet that is compatible with the Earth’s Planetary Boundaries and that works with nature, not against it. Instead of the constant cry for innovation and technological solutions, we will show how ‘old knowledge’ can be leveraged to solve the current wicked problems and crises we are facing, and how we can live better with less. Through the methods developed for wardrobe studies, we will highlight how we have something to learn from the food sector and a large international collaboration initiated by the EAT Foundation. We will also show how the sustainable fashion focus has attacked the dessert before even addressing the appetiser.
