Mechanical properties and chemical composition of rubber gaskets

摘要: Two rubber materials intended for valve gaskets operated at high temp. were studied for mech. properties (strength, elasticity, hardness, and abrasion resistance) and by differential scanning calorimetry to det. chem. compn. of the rubber materials. One of the rubber contained ethylene, propylene and vinyl acetate units and the another one ethylene, propylene and butadiene units.
