摘要: Development economists have highlighted the central role of institutions governing property rights and land markets in shaping growth and distribution of its gains among the population. The creation and maintenance of land property rights systems has long proven to be effective in improving economic outcomes through increased investment incentives due to the reduction in the risk of land loss and the facilitation of market transactions. Africa possesses nearly 60% of the world’s uncultivated arable land but it has yet to realize its comparative advantage in agriculture.
