摘要: BackgroundReintroductions can have severe disadvantages. starting with a small number of founder individuals, which might result in a strong genetic bottleneck and inbreeding. Between 2000 and 2006, 24 lynx (nine males, 15 females) of multiple captive origins were reintroduced in the Harz National Park. Recent monitoring activities revealed a steep growth and significant range expansion within and outside the Harz Mountains.
