摘要: Design within the domain can aim to elicit positive behaviour changes to address health and wellbeing issues. Research in public health monitors the health of communities and populations at risk to identify health problems and priorities in an effort to encourage prevention rather than cure. Importantly, the space highlights natural elements, which have a positive effect on health and wellbeing and promote coping behaviour through social interactions whilst within the hospital environment. The relationship between health and the environment has been subject to much focus in the academic research field. Hospitals and other healthcare facilities provide examples of a specific context in which design for behaviour change exists and one where both personal and environmental factors can elicit change.
