摘要: This chapter reviews the evidence linking corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) to the neuroregulation of adenohypophysial function. In addition, it shows how CRF and closely related peptides may play a broad role in the brain as transsynaptic or paracrine mediators of endocrine and visceral functions, especially in animals under stress.
