Peer Review: Sunshine Coast Council Climate Change and Peak Oil Strategy 2010-2020

摘要: This report presents the outcomes of a peer review of the Sunshine Coast Council’s Climate Change and Peak Oil Strategy 2010-2020 (CCPOS). The CCPOS was analysed against good practice to provide recommendations for the next phase of strategy planning. Drawing on a review of best practice in climate change strategy design and an analysis of local government climate strategies within Australia and beyond, the review examined:(i) clarity of purpose and scope;(ii) alignment to best practice;(iii) operational context;(iv) monitoring and evaluation; and (v) gaps and recommendations.
