摘要: Benefiting from the water wheel-like architecture with ladder-cyclic rings of Noria with 2D architecture and hydrophilic nature of GO, the developed nanocomposite had unique structure with improved performance to disperse the loaded nanoparticles (NPs). Herein, a nanocomposite made of Pd-Cu nanoparticles and Noria-GO was synthesized using a sol-immobilization method with NaBH4 and poly vinyl alcohol. This nanocomposite showed improved performance in dispersing the loaded nanoparticles and its structure was confirmed by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy and TEM. The nanocomposite was then used as a nanocatalyst to convert nitrophenol to aminophenol, which is less toxic and has various industrial applications. The Pd-Cu@ Noria-GO nanocomposite showed excellent catalytic efficacy with a conversion rate of 95%, Kapp of 0.225 min-1 and KAF of 225 min-1g-1 in the reduction of 4-NP. The durability of the nanocomposite was also explored and found to be robust and promising for remediation of organic contaminants.
