Therapeutic effects of stem cell transplantation in a rat model of hind limb ischemia: an MR Imagnig, MR Angiography and 1H-MR Spectroscopy study

摘要: PurposeLower limb ischemia leads to progressive structural and functional tissue deterioration, eventually leading to necrosis and the need for amputation. Epidemiological evidence showed that diabetes worsened this damage, influencing the response to ischemia anddeterminingmyopathy and microangiopathy. Since stem cells are capable of replenishing the ischemic tissue with new vessels and preventing ischemic tissue damage, we used MR combined techniques to test in-vivothe therapeutic effects ofallogenic adipose tissue-derived stromal cell (ADSCs) transplantation inarat model of hind limb ischemia with and without diabetes.
