摘要: This investigation demonstrates the effectiveness of finite impulse response (FIR) filters implemented with the O-splines of the discrete-time Taylor–Fourier transform (DTTFT), as a multiresolution signal decomposition, for power quality harmonic monitoring in modern electrical grids. For this purpose, the computational burden of the O-splines is reduced, making them suitable for their implementation in microcontrollers or digital signal processors with a reduced cost. Thus synthetic signals and actual measurements collected by a commercial three-phase power analyzer are in detail evaluated with this proposal. Synthetic signals are demodulated by employing FIR filters, aiming to estimate its THD and its relationship with its odd harmonics.
