摘要: Seismic inversion is a geophysical technique, which converted the seismic data into rock physical properties that can help to design an earth model. Seismic inversion methods are useful to estimate the attributes of p-impedance (Zp), S-impedance (Zs), and density (ρ) that provide information about the reservoir. To fulfil the present research aims some standard seismic post-stack inversion methods has been used for reservoir characterization. The model-based inversion (MBI), colored inversion (CI), linear programming sparse spike (LPSS), maximum likelihood sparse spike (MLSS), and band-limited (BLI) inversions are applied to the given post-stack seismic data of the Mehar Block Lower Indus Basin to evaluate the objective of the current study.
