摘要: [en] High quality single crystals of the itinerant antiferromagnet CrB_2, T_N= 88 K, were grown by means of optical float zoning. Bulk, transport and de Haas-van Alphen measurements were carried out. Here, we present a comprehensive study of the high-pressure transport properties. Samples were investigated under hydrostatic, uniaxial and quasi-hydrostatic conditions. As a result we are able to attribute contradictory reports for the pressure dependence of T_N to uniaxial strain. Perhaps most interestingly, we find a pronounced low temperature resistivity anomaly around 3 GPa in the quasi-hydrostatic case.
