Risk perception of the Belgian population

摘要: In this chapter we first introduce the research context, we then describe the focus of the current survey and differences and similarities between the 2009 barometer and previous versions. Finally we review the content and structure of the questionnaire. Chapter 3 focuses on the methodology. The next 5 chapters are devoted to an overview of the results Chapter 4 General risk perception and confidence in authorities Chapter 5 Risk communication and the respondents' use of media and information sources Chapter 6 General attitudes, such as attitudes towards science and technology, stakeholders engagement or legal norms, or safety behaviour and anomy, Chapter 7 Perception, knowledge, opinions and attitudes towards nuclear issues, Chapter 8 A short survey evaluationThe appendices contain information from the technical report of the survey: the population and the sample, the questionnaire and the video-text (in the original languages Dutch and French), the data collection procedure, the quality control procedure, and the details of statistical analysis presented in the results section.
