A Comparative study between MPPT using PI and Fuzzy Logic Control for Wind Turbine system

摘要: This research work studies the control of a wind energy conversion system (WECS) based on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). In order to enhance the efficiency of the wind turbine system, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control is integrated for exploiting the maximum available power from the wind. Two types of controllers have been proposed and developed, PI and Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC). Simulations results using Matlab Simulink show the performances of each one with a comparison of results.
