Examining the role of attention-mediated changes in transient beta events on TMS-evoked responses using TMS-EEG and computational neural modeling

摘要: Simultaneous TMS-EEG is a promising method to study brain dynamics evoked by neurostimulation, however recent evidence suggests TMS-evoked potentials (TEPs) contain peripheral somatosensory and auditory components that can complicate their interpretation. Here we attempt to isolate the peripheral cortical response to the sensation of TMS on the head using cued attention.
