摘要: The rheological properties and the structure of smectite clay-epoxy hybrids have been investigated in order to characterize the strong intralayer bonding and the week interlayer interaction. Both the smectite concentration and the level of curing are varied to investigate the nanostructure formation in self-cured epoxy-smectite clay hybrids. The rheological methods at the liquid state and X-ray diffraction, at the solid state, are used to understand the rheology-structure relation, which is associated with the tethering of the functional groups on the silicate surface.
