CPSD2: A new approach for cyber-physical systems design and development

摘要: Cyber-physical systems (CPS) allow the integration of computation to physical contexts, unlocking more sophisticated capabilities in engineering systems. A methodology is needed to properly guide the entire process of creating, designing, building and implementing a CPS. Methodologies addressing the essential aspects of CPS design already exist. However, none was found that properly concerns the company's business model and its way of market interaction, in order to identify opportunities where the use of CPS could improve the performance. Therefore, this article proposes CPSD2: a CPS design and development methodology approach based on generic product design and development methods.
