摘要: A subconjunctival swelling in a boy aged 12 years was shown to be due to a cysticercus. Taenia solium was present in the stools. This site is rarely involved, but the case is also of interest in that the boy was a Hindu and from a part of India where the people are strictly vegetarian and where there are very few pigs. The authors suggest that contaminated water or vegetables may have been, the source of infection. F. I. C. Apted.
