Letter Introducing the New Editor, David Cooke

摘要: With issue no. 3 of volume 119 we introduce a new editor for Economic Geology. I am pleased to announce that the Publications Board has selected Dr. David Cooke as the incoming editor of the journal. Dave will join me as co-editor for the remainder of 2024. He will handle all newly submitted manuscripts, and I will continue to handle previously submitted manuscripts and special issues through to completion. Dave will become the sole editor in January 2025 when he will be only the seventh editor of Economic Geology in its 120 years of publication, after John D. Irving (1905–1917), Alan M. Bateman (1917–1969), Brian J. Skinner (1969–1995), Marco T. Einaudi (1995–2001), Mark Hannington (2001–2008), and Lawrence D. Meinert (2008–2024).
